Background: |
Antenna protein that modulates the color of the bioluminescence emission of the luciferase. In the presence of YFP and only at temperatures below 20 degrees Celsius, luciferase exhibits a bimodal emission spectrum with a new peak at 545 nM (yellow), in addition to the one at 485 nM. |
